- Damage to large Thai businesses from last week's riots in Cambodia have been estimated at 1.8 billion baht, according to government officials.
- SW Casino operators along the Thai-Burmese border, as well as illegal gambling dens in Thailand, have reported brisk business in the aftermath of last week's closure of the Thai-Cambodian border, which has prevented Thai gamblers from patronising Cambodian casinos.
- Thai companies say they see no need to rebrand products sold in Cambodia where their goods have a premium image and are in strong demand.
- Shares of Picnic Gas and Chemicals will resume trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand today.
- Golden Land said proceeds from its capital increase totalling 334.94m bt had been used to redeem two promissory notes for 52.5m bt. The company had also allocated 34,444,444 shares to the existing shareholders of North Sathorn Realty Co in exchange for 31,930,000 shares of Golden Land, resulting in the latter having the entire stake in North Sathorn.
