RADM Raymond A. Archer III

RADM Raymond A. Archer III, completed 33 years of active service and retired on Nov. 1, 2002, after serving as Vice Director, Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va.

Archer is a native of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State University's School of Business in 1969 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. In 1978, he received a master's degree in business administration from Duke Graduate School of Business.

His sea duty tours include supply officer of USS Ranger (CV 61); an exchange tour in the Royal Navy Submarine Force as deputy supply officer, HMS Neptune; stores and stock control officer, USS ...
