A labour inspection office has ordered Japan's top automaker Toyota Motor Corp. to pay allowances for overtime owed to some employees, a company spokesman said.
"It is true that we have been told to correct (the practice of not paying overtime)," spokesman Shinya Matsumoto said Saturday, declining to give further details about the payments.
