The MTNA FOUNDATION welcomes MarySue Harris to membership in the Legacy Society. She recently funded the MarySue Harris Endowment Fund that will support the MTNA Studio Teacher Fellowship Award. Her strong commitment to the beginning teacher led her to dedicate the endowment to this program.
MarySue Hormel Harris began piano lessons at age 4. She continued her lifelong love of music at Hastings College, Hastings, Nebraska, where she received a B.A. degree cum laude. She also pursued graduate studies at the University of Michigan and the University of Nebraska.
An MTNA certified teacher, Harris has taught piano lessons for forty years. Her students have won various Nebraska piano competitions. She has ...
