PANGKALPINANG, S Sumatra, Jan 2 Asia Pulse - State-owned tin company PT Timah Tbk (JSX:TINS) is optimistic that the country's tin trade in fiscal 2003 would be improved because international market demands for the commodity would increase.
"The increasing demands for the commodity in the world market is in line with the increasing number of electronic industries in the world," Timah Director H .Thobrani Alwi said Tuesday.
He said the improvement of world tin business would improve the country's tin production and its price.
