JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- A. Philip Randolph Academies of Technology, a magnet high school in Jacksonville, FL, announced that 58 students in its Computer Science Academy have achieved their Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) credentials in the first semester of the 2002-2003 school year. This represents a 77 percent pass rate.
Randolph is a diverse high school that provides advanced technology training courses as part of the curriculum. In a unique move, however, the school is offering students the opportunity to earn upper-level, industry-standard technical certifications typically not available at the high school level.
