NEW YORK -- NEW YORK, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Village Voice Media today confirmed that it has signed a consent decree with the Department of Justice that settles a dispute regarding recent transactions with New Times Media in Cleveland and Los Angeles.

The settlement directs Village Voice Media to resell its assets in Cleveland to a party other than New Times. In Los Angeles, New Times will resell their assets to a party other than Village Voice Media.
