PHONE MESSAGE 
 
   This is a recorded message. 
   We shall not tell you who it is 
   you are speaking with, nor reveal 
   what number you have reached. No-one 
   who lives at this number has time 
   to answer just a few questions, 
   to take part in a short survey, 
   to attend a free seminar, 
   or to have a chance of winning 
   an all-expenses-paid weekend 
   at any luxury resort. 
   There is no-one here who is aged 
   between nineteen and ninety, no 
   oldest male or youngest female 
   over the age of twenty, no 
   person who has recently had 
   a birthday, and no-one who is 
   the household's main income earner. 
   We have no pets, no motor cars, 
   and no use for carpet cleaners;
