   I love a stickiness that follows 
   the perfume of petunias, 
   a red-gum encrusted 
   with its own shed skin, 
   the wraith of a cobweb, tethered 
   by one light foot to the roof 
   and the hooting of coots 
   calming the lake at dusk. 
 
   That fine fur 
   on the skin of a peach 
   is your arm against mine 
   in our clean-sheeted ...
