Evergreen adds further Yantian call.

TAIWANESE liner company, Evergreen, is adding a further call to the south Chinese port of Yantian, as the company's president, Arnold Wang, is confident that cargoes out of the Pearl River Delta will continue to soar, writes Sam Chambers in Hong Kong.

Having added Yantian to its eastbound US west coast-Asia-Europe (WAE) pendulum schedule last August, Evergreen is now including a westbound call, thus doubling its sailing frequency between this Pearl River Delta port and Europe.

Evergreen already features Yantian on both its Transpacific Southwest (TPS) service and the China-Europe-Mediterranean (CEM) service.
