ANAHEIM ANGELS The team filled its need tot a reserve outfielder by signing free agent Eric Owens to a one-year contract. Owens is a solid defender who will give the Angels speed and aggressiveness on the basepaths. He stole 26 sbases for the Marlins last season; CF Darin Erstad led the Angels with 23.
