WICHITA, Kan. -- WICHITA, Kan., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Air Midwest, Inc. this morning said it completed inspections of the elevator controls on nine Raytheon/Beech 1900D aircraft, and found all components to be functioning properly and within Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-required parameters.
Three of these aircraft had undergone similar maintenance checks at the Raytheon Aerospace, LLC facility in Huntington, West Virginia as the aircraft involved in Wednesday's accident. Inspections have also been completed on six other Raytheon/Beech 1900D aircraft in the Air Midwest fleet.
