Had it not been for senior patent litigation partner Richard Price at the then Taylor Joynson Garrett (TJG) picking up the phone to Wessing intellectual property (IP) partner Sabine Rojahn last year, 2002's largest Anglo-German merger would never have happened. TJG and Wessing had no previous relationship. Wessing worked with Bird & Bird and TJG with Gaedertz.
