SEREMBAN, Mon. - The Government has no intention to change the status of Bahasa Melayu as the national language despite emphasis on English now.
Education Ministry parliamentary-secretary Datuk Mahadzir Mohd Khir said claims by some quarters that the use of English in Mathematics and Science would erode the identities of Malays and other races were unfounded.
