(From Belfast Telegraph)
PAMELA Magill will turn out for Pegasus in Saturday's Peugeot 206 Senior League clash at Coleraine ... but her Irish international colleagues will again be missing from the defending champions' line-up.
Indeed some of the Irish World Cup squad aren't expected to play club hockey before March.
It seems almost certain that girls like Arlene Boyles and Claire McMahon will be taking an extended break from the game as they recover from their exertions in the scorching heat of lovely Perth.
"We won't be putting any pressure on the players concerned and I'm told that Riet Kuper (the Ireland coach) wants them to come back only when they feel ready," said Pegasus captain Claire Redpath.
"Pamela is very keen though, having had limited pitch-time in Perth and I think Katharine Maybin will be returning sooner rather than later too."
Pegasus won the first phase of the league with an unbeaten record so the international players clearly weren't too badly missed as the rest of the teams continue to play 'catch-up.'
