A MAN was recovering in hospital today after he was the victim of a paramilitary-style shooting in south Belfast.
The victim suffered a gun shot wound to his leg when he was attacked in the lower Rockview Street area off the Donegall Road shortly before 4.30am this morning.
Police are investigating.
Body recovered from River Bann
A POST-MORTEM examination was being arranged today after the body of a 45-year-old man was recovered from the River Bann.
The deceased was pulled from the river in Banbridge yesterday during a search operation carried out after the man was reported missing since Monday.
