HUNDREDS of residents in part of Co Antrim were left facing misery after their electricity supply failed over festive period - for the fourth successive year.
Many householders in the Burnside, Cogry and Kilbride areas had Christmas dinners ruined following the Christmas Eve black-out which NIE is blaming on vandals firing gunshots at electric cables.
Now Councillor Ted Turkington said he would be demanding answers from NIE after he was inundated by calls from angry residents.
