RAIN-SOAKED Ulster was warned today that the New Year will start with no respite from the miserable weather conditions which saw 2002 ranked as the province's wettest year on record.
And to add further misery, the unseasonable balmy temperatures enjoyed over Christmas will be replaced later this week by a cold snap.
