Management at the property company that owns the Magna Park distribution complex has hit back at claims that it refuses to allow drivers to park up at the site, even if they have run out of hours (T&D Nov).

Andrew Griffiths, development director for Gazeley Properties, said: 'Magna Park is a private park with distribution sites leased to or held freehold by some 27 blue-chip companies operating UK-wide logistics operations.

'The park has been designed exclusively for road freight and is designed to accommodate high volumes of vehicles. On behalf of all our occupiers, Magna Park's management provides security and safety patrols for the private road system. …
