There seems to be no answer to this, but the village shows signs of a busy heritage, and a village trail (available from local libraries) is a good guide for visitors, pointing out such sights of domestic history as Clock House, complete with public clock set in the side wall (home of the village clock-maker), Stonewall - the village bakehouse - and the ancient thatched Old Post Office.
