Budapest, January 1 (MTI) - The Hungarian economy had a mixed year in 2002, Minister of Finance Csaba Laszlo told MTI. Prospects for 2003 are good, he added, though unfavourable global trends could put them at risk.
The Hungarian economy is strong and competitive. Hopefully, it will be possible to reverse several unfavourable trends in economic policy that began a year-and-a-half to two years ago, and to shift to a sustainable growth track, said the minister.
