The claim: Dreyer's and Edy's new Grand Light ice cream tastes as good as full-fat premium ice cream, the company says. Though it has 50 percent less fat and 33 percent fewer calories than the company's regular ice cream, Grand Light is "unbelievably rich and creamy" because it's made with a "slow churned" blending process that "pushes the fat molecules through a very small space, stretching them out."
