Calling itself a "new" group, the Venice three-piece Just a Thing (formed nine months ago) incorporates songs written during the past 20 years by two of its members to create an instant original music library.
It incorporates a mod variety of '60s and '70s tunes, too (Dylan, Grateful Dead, Hendrix, Southern rock and old blues, for instance) and frequently blends 'em "jam-band" style.
