KOLKATA, July 19. - A 21-year-old Japanese national was allegedly raped three days back at a hotel on Elliott Road by another guest who was her tourist guide. The woman was accompanied by consulate officials when she lodged a complaint with Park Street police yesterday evening after which the man was arrested.

Shahid Iqbal (25) alias 'Raju guide', was arrested from his house on Lal Mohon Bhattacharjee Road, additional commissioner (I) Mr Partha Bhattacharya said.
