LIKE LOVE 
 
   Like the thundering herd, 
   Like a tart in a trance, 
   Like the song of a bird, 
   Like a dream of romance, 
 
   Like the ghost of a chance, 
   Like the bung of a bell, 
   Like the thirst Afrikaans, 
   Like the second Nowell, 
 
   Like a tart out of hell, 
   Like a fart in the Styx, 
   Like a maitre d'hotel, 
   Like a bat on hot bricks, 
 
   Like a chat with the chicks, 
   Like a whale on the wine, 
   Like seven and six, 
   Like a shit in a shrine,
