SIR: Frank Crowley could have made his article on "The Ward Fabrication" (May 2004) more convincing had he had the courtesy, which I believe he should have had, to have consulted me, an old "friend". Perhaps he thought that I, like Russel Ward, was dead. Could this be another one of the facts he forgot to check?
He could also have consulted a large file on "The Ward Case" deposited by me about three years ago in the Archives of the University of New South Wales.
