ISLAMABAD, Jul 11: The Ministry of Social Welfare, Women Development and Special Education would carry out 83 development schemes at a cost of Rs. 1258.51 million, during this year. "This year's allocation under Public Sector Development Projects for the Ministry are around 87 % higher than those of previous year's revised allocation," said Secretary Social Welfare, Women Development and Special Education Dr. Aleem Mahmud in an interview to journalists here Sunday.

Giving breakup of the schemes, Dr. Aleem Mahmud said, the total allocation include Rs. 540 million for 38 projects in women …
