KUALA Lumpur City Hall recently launched Environment Week 2003 for the Federal Territory at the forest reserve in Bukit Nanas.
The event, officiated by Datuk Bandar Datuk Mohmad Shaid Mohd Taufek, was part of the national Environment Week event launched on Oct 21 in Kluang by Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman and Science, Technology and Environment Minister Datuk Law Hieng Ding.
Present at the KL launch were Federal Territory (KL) special committee on environment chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye and Forestry Department (peninsular Malaysia) director-general Datuk Abdul Rashid Mat Amin.
