Athens contradicts the Albanian presidency. It says that it has not changed its mind about its stance on World War II. A statement by the Greek embassy in Tirana gives a different version of what the Greek defence minister said at his meeting with the Albanian head of state two days ago. Greece claims that the words of Minister [Spilios] Spiliotopoulos were said only in connection with the personal role of President Moisiu's father, Gen Spiro Moisiu, when the Italian-Greek war began.
