Tehran, 10 July: The chairman of the Supreme council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq met and held talks with Hojjat ol-Eslam val Moslemin [Akbar] Hashemi-Rafsanjani.

According to a report by the news reception unit of the Iranian Students News Agency, speaking at the meeting, the head of the Expediency Council said that conditions were sensitive and serious and referring of the developments in Iraq, he said: The Islamic Republic of Iran places emphasis upon the importance of preserving the territorial integrity of Iraq.
