Brislington have been rocked by the resignation of manager Tony Cornelius just a month before the season gets under way.

His assistant, Pete Wills, has also quit, and Brislington chairman Mike Richardson admitted: "It's a body blow so close to the start of the season.

"Tony only took charge in March following Nigel Webb's unexpected resignation but I would like to thank him for what he and Pete did in taking us through a difficult few months.
