THE latest Canon i560 Bubble Jet printer comes with new printing technologies, including PictBridge which allows it to print photos from a digital camera without the need to connect to a computer.

"PictBridge offers easy-to-operate printing and interconnection between more digital cameras and printers," said Canon Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd's president and chief executive officer Satoshi Kimura.

Developed by Canon, Fuji, Hewlett-Packard, Olympus, Seiko Epson and Sony, the Pictbridge standard allows direct printing between different brands of digital cameras, videocams and printers.
