PORT CHARLOTTE -- A "hot" market to find young, college-educated jobseekers.
They did mean, Port Charlotte, Florida, right?
In perhaps another sign of Southwest Florida's changing demographics, The Kiplinger Letter named the Charlotte County community as one of a handful of "hot new areas where employers can find a pool of young talent."
The recognition by the high-powered financial newsletter -- read by, among others, Wall Street bankers and Fortune 500 CEOs -- was welcome news for Betty Williams, Charlotte County's economic development director.
