KUALA LUMPUR, Wed. - The Government will not stop sending students abroad to further their education, even to countries suspected of being breeding grounds for terrorists or extremists.
Education Minister Tan Sri Musa Muhammad said it was not the Government's policy to stop sending students overseas, as long as the situation in these places "was under control".
"It is not in the interest of the nation to stop students from furthering their education wherever they think it appropriate.
"But there will be added vigilance to ensure our students do not fall prey to people who may want to induce them to join certain groups," he said.
