THE partners of 1919 Bistro and Wine Bar raised RM4,000 for PT Foundation in support of World AIDS Day 2003 during its recent opening night.

1919's partners Jit Murad, Randy Gocke and Scott Hensarling launched the event with a fashion show by Hideaki Lim and a song-and-dance pantomime by "Pacha".

Lim also donated an evening dress named "cyber cheongsam", modelled by 1919 public relations officer Iwa Pon.

The dress in made of lycra mixed with silvery silk threads and had a reserve price of RM1,200 at the charity auction.
