Q: I have a DVD-ROM drive. I want to install a dual-system digital versatile disc writer (DVD-recordable/DVD-rewritable or DVD-R/-RW, and DVD+R/+RW). Can I copy DVD-R or DVD-RW (as source) to DVD+R or +RW using the DVD writer and vice versa? I know that the DVD-ROM drive should be able to read DVD-R or -RW discs as this system complies with DVD Forum standards. It should read DVD+R/+RW according to the manufacturers but they are not sure.
If the DVD-ROM will not read DVD+R/+RW discs, it will have to do with just DVD-R/-RW disc (as source).
