KEY tourism players and policy makers from the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) spent three days brainstorming for ways to boost the industry.
The participants, shared their knowledge and experiences in meetings at Universiti Utara Malaysia campus in Sintok, Kedah, from Oct 12 to 14.
Culture, Arts and Tourism Deputy Minister Datuk Fu Ah Kiow, in his speech, urged the IMT-GT to plan and promote their natural and cultural heritage to spur economic growth.
