KEPALA BATAS, Fri. - Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today said Southeast Asia does not need another country to police the region.

He said Asean nations had agreed to ensure security in the region and had continuously worked hard towards achieving peace in the area.

"This region is stable because we have agreed among ourselves to keep it peaceful. We do not interfere in others' affairs and we have all ensured peace and security in the region," he said when asked to comment on US President George W.
