Residencies give medical students a way of joining theory with practice. Similarly, law school clinics allow law students to apply their education to real life. The 12 clinics at the Law Center at Georgetown University DC offer students more than just a form of experiential learning. Some are also a way of enacting social justice for and by women.

Nancy Chi Cantalupo JD, assistant dean for clinical programs, clinical teaching fellows Elizabeth Liu JD and Emily Read JD and law student Rebecca Shaeffer spoke about Georgetown Law School's clinics at the National Association for Women in Catholic Higher Education (NAW-CHE) conference held in Washington DC in June.
