Byline: Changes part of review of Maersk's global network following the P'O Nedlloyd acquisition

In response to changing customer requirements, and prevailing market conditions, Maersk Line is implementing a number of service changes during the fourth quarter of the year which are designed to benefit customers in the Middle East region.

A key feature of the revised services is improved transit times from the direct load ports in the Middle East to northern European destinations.

Maersk Line is essentially replacing the former ME2 service with a combination of an enhanced ME1 and ME3 operation.
