A month ago, I sent in my Malaysian passport, which is expiring in January 2005, to be renewed.
I sent the application to the Malaysian High Commission in Canberra. Prior to that, I was told by its representative in Queensland and also by the High Commission itself that it should take no longer than fivemonths.
