THE Golf Malaysia Magazine Eagles Championship, which will be played at the Damai Laut Golf and Country Club in Lumut on Aug 7, promises to be a tough challenge.
Designed for members of the Golf Malaysia Eagles Club, the competition is expected to attract around 100 golfers.
There will be three categories. The men's A and B Medal will feature golfers with handicaps 0-15 and 16-23, respectively. The women's section is open to golfers with handicaps of 0-30.
Entry fee for the tournament is RM200 per golfer.
* ALI Bakri Borhah came close to making a clean sweep of the skins when he finished with 34 points in the fifth round of the Celcom Skins Challenge at Paradise Valley Golf & Country Club in Seremban last Saturday.
Ali, a business manager with Agilent Technology Sales, snatched 16 of the 18 skins available in his flight, taking A Medal honours. It secured him a place in the grand final in October at Glenmarie GCC.
