* Fish/fish oils: Studies have proved that eating moderate amounts of fish does in fact reduce the chances of coronary heart disease and sudden death. The key seems to be a unique type of polyunsaturated fat called Omega-3 fatty acids. Some fish, particularly fatty types prevalent in cold waters such as mackerel, herring, cod and salmon, contain high amounts of Omega-3 fatty acids.
