Royal Mail to shut 21 more city post offices.

By NIAMH BYRNE and SIMON PEEVERS THE Royal Mail has earmarked a further 21 post offices in the Bristol area for closure.

The identities of the post offices have been revealed today and it is expected that the impact of the closures will stretch right across the city. Some of the branches could be closed as early as the end of next month.

The hardest hit area will be east Bristol, with two branches set to close on Fishponds Road alone, as well as three in Easton, on Chelsea Road, Belle Vue Road and Stapleton Road.
