KUALA LUMPUR, Sat. - Two students from Kota Kinabalu set a feat difficult for other students to emulate when they scored 16 As each in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examination.
Nicholas Pang Tze Ping and Celestina Johny Bouniu, both from SM All Saints, are currently undergoing National Service training at the Ovai camp in Papar.
Penang, however, won the distinction of having the highest percentage of straight A scorers in the country, with 79 candidates scoring As in all their papers.
The best student in the State was Yong Boon Fei from SMK Mak Mandin in Seberang Perai, who scored 13As.
