HUNDREDS of traders from Petaling Street want the Anti-Corruption Agency, Kuala Lumpur City Hall and the police to combine forces and put an immediate stop to the illegal collection of monies for supply of electricity.
They claim that an individual, who is said to be a restricted resident and reportedly from the Kuala Lumpur Hawkers Association, has been billing them for electricity supply.
Heading their call was DAP secretary-general Wee Choo Keong who said the traders were living in fear and did not dare complain about the illegal practice.
