THE STAR:
- Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has strengthened its position as Asia's largest oil and gas firm as well as the biggest and most profitable Malaysian company after reporting its best financial performance in its 30-year history.

- In the first of a series on the improving trade and investment scene between Malaysia and Singapore, StarBiz profiles Singapore's dynamic investment arm, Temasek Holdings.
- The number of companies that still do not meet the minimum paid-up capital requirement for continued listing has dropped to 28, equivalent to 3% of the total number of companies listed on Bursa Malaysia as
at June 29.
