MANY MID-SUMMER INT'L FLIGHTS OF S. KOREA'S AIRLINES ALREADY FULL.
SEOUL, July 1 Asia Pulse - Most mid-summer international flights of South Korea's airlines are already fully booked as people prepare for overseas vacations, industry sources said Thursday.
"As many people try to go abroad for vacation, most international tickets were sold out faster than in previous years," an official at Korean Air (KSE:003490), the larger of South Korea's two national flag carriers, said.
For the July 15-August 15 period, the airline's flights to Bangkok, Hawaii, London, Tokyo and Beijing are completely full, the official said.
Tickets for other destinations, such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Frankfurt, are selling briskly, the official said.
