SEOUL, July 1 Asia Pulse - South Korean stocks rose slightly Thursday morning after the U.S. Federal Reserve implemented its first interest rate hike in four years on Wednesday.

In the first 15 minutes of trading, the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) edged up 2.73 points to 789.89, with the tech-heavy KOSDAQ index up 2.58 points to 388.51.
