The National Association of Insurance Commissioners has urged Congress to adopt a two-year extension of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act.
NAIC said the extension was necessary in order to avoid market uncertainty and economic instability. It wants Congress to pass legislation to extend TRIA to the end of 2007.
